General Terms and Conditions for Corporate Clients in Individual and Group Training

  1. With your signature you confirm the conclusion of the contract with SprachenStudio KAST. 
  2. The contract includes either a fixed quota of language course units to be paid in advance or a continuous language course for which you will receive an invoice with a payment term of 14 days at the end of each month in accordance with the teaching units actually held.
  3. The minimum booking period for ongoing language courses is 3 months.
  4. After the end of the 3 months, the notice period for in-house courses and ongoing courses in our institute from both sides is 6 weeks to the next end of the quarter. Otherwise, the contract will be extended for another calendar quarter. Termination requires the text form. In the case of a framework contract, the notice periods and/or contract terms agreed therein shall apply.
  5. If you participate in current language courses from our generally accessible course offer in our institute, the specified course fee plus VAT is due for the minimum period of three months in advance. In case of non-participation on individual dates, the monthly fee cannot be reduced.
  6. As a result of general price developments, we retain a dynamic price adjustment of up to 5 course fees for ongoing courses in our institute. % per financial year.
  7. Bindingly booked and paid quotas are valid from the invoice date for 10 dates 6 months and from 20 dates 12 months.
  8. Bindingly booked lessons cannot be refunded. However, you have the option of transferring your training packages to other people and languages after consultation with the language school management and adapting them to your new requirements. A corresponding price adjustment may be agreed separately.
  9. Procurement and provision of teaching material is not included in the course fee. It is calculated as a separate item. Depending on general price developments, we reserve the right to adjust the prices for the procurement and provision of teaching materials on an annual basis.
  10. For language training outside our institute, a travel fee depending on distance and accessibility will be charged. Depending on general price developments, we reserve the right to adjust the travel costs annually.
  11. Lessons not held by SprachenStudio KAST in exceptional cases will not be charged or made up for another date by arrangement.
  12. Cancellations of individual lessons are requested 24 hours in advance by e-mail to info@sprachenstudiokast.de. Lessons not cancelled in time will be charged, possibly without a flat rate for travel expenses.
  13. If additional participants are permanently added to a booked in-house course or if participants drop out and thus change the group size, I adjust the fees according to the price list.
  14. The teacher can be changed from SprachenStudio KAST or to Kundenwusch. There is no entitlement to information from a particular teacher. In the event of a change of teacher, the customer is not entitled to terminate or withdraw from the contract.
  15. Learning successes are always individual. The achievement of certain learning objectives cannot be guaranteed.
  16. SprachenStudio KAST reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The customer will be informed of the changes by e-mail six weeks before the changes come into force. In this e-mail, the customer receives the new terms and conditions. He is entitled to object to the validity of the new GTC within six weeks of receipt of this e-mail. If the customer fails to object, the amended GTC shall become part of the contract after expiry of the six-week period. SprachenStudio KAST will expressly inform the customer of this deadline within the scope of the change notification.
  17. Excluded from the right to amend these GTC according to the previous paragraph are regulations that concern the main performance obligations of the contracting parties and thus significantly change the relationship between main and counter-performance obligations, as well as other fundamental changes to the contractual obligations that are equivalent to the conclusion of a contract. An explicit contractual agreement is required for such changes.
  18. If you have made a purchase via goods and services from us, we are entitled to send you information about our own similar goods and services via the e-mail address sent at the time of purchase (§ 7 III UWG). You can object to this use of your e-mail address at any time in its entirety or for individual measures, e.g. by e-mail to info@sprachenstudiokast.de, without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates.
